“What’s New in this Version” is the release-notes text on the App Store, up to 4000 characters, required for every version after the first. Guideline 2.3.12 says significant changes must be listed; small fixes can use a generic note.

If a release changes what screenshots show, update both: screenshots that show removed features can mislead.
