Screenshot Resizer
Choose a target size, pick how the image should fit, and download an alpha-free PNG at exactly that size. The presets come from the same verified size list as our App Store and Google Play guides, and nothing is uploaded.
How it works
- Fill scales the image to cover the target and crops what overflows, keeping the centre.
- Fit scales it to fit inside and fills the rest with your background colour.
- Stretch forces the exact size and distorts the image; use it only when the ratios already match.
- Output is an 8-bit RGB PNG with no alpha channel, encoded in your browser.
Frequently asked questions
Should I fit, fill or stretch?
Fill when the aspect ratios are close (it crops a sliver); fit when they differ a lot (it adds a background band). Stretch distorts the UI, and Google Play asks for no stretched images, so avoid it unless the ratios already match.
Will resizing make my screenshot blurry?
Shrinking keeps it sharp. Enlarging a small capture softens it; capture on a bigger device instead.
Which size should I pick for iPhone?
1320 × 2868 (the 6.9-inch group). App Store Connect scales the largest set down for smaller iPhones.
