App preview

An app preview is a short video (15 to 30 seconds) on your App Store product page that shows your app in use. You can upload up to three per device size and language, and Guideline 2.3.4 says they may only use screen captures of the app itself.

Preview resolutions differ from screenshot sizes: for the 6.9-inch iPhone group Apple accepts 886 × 1920 portrait (1920 × 886 landscape); for the 13-inch iPad, 1200 × 1600.

Files can be .mov, .m4v or .mp4 (H.264) or ProRes 422 HQ, up to 500 MB and 30 fps.
