iPhone Duo Screenshot Generator
AppShotEditor makes iPhone Duo App Store screenshots for both displays in your browser: design the inner set at 2007 × 2853 px, then click “Create outer from inner” to get the 1398 × 2034 px outer set in its own frame. Both iPhone Duo frames are free, with no watermark and no signup.

Example
Three inner-display screens composed by the same engine our Agent Skill uses, in our own iPhone Duo inner frame.
Open it in the editor and click “Create outer from inner” to get the matching outer-display set.
How to do it
- 1
Capture
Take screenshots of your app on both displays: open (inner) and closed (outer), in the simulator or on a device.
- 2
Inner set
In the editor, choose Add device → “iPhone Duo — inner 7.6"”, drop your inner captures onto the frames and write one headline per screen.
- 3
Outer set
Click “Create outer from inner”. Each inner screen is copied into the outer size and frame; swap in your outer captures and shorten any headline that wraps badly.
- 4
Export
iPhone Duo screens always export at their own exact size (2007 × 2853 inner, 1398 × 2034 outer), whatever preset is selected. Single screens export free; a ZIP of every screen puts the two sets in separate iPhone-Duo-inner and iPhone-Duo-outer folders.
Two displays, two screenshot sets
Apple lists two iPhone Duo sizes, one per display: 2007 × 2853 for the inner display and 1398 × 2034 for the outer one, each also accepted in landscape. They are not alternatives. Their shapes differ (aspect 0.7035 and 0.6873), and both are much wider than other iPhones (0.4603 for 6.9-inch), so neither can be made by stretching another set.
In the editor each display is its own device group, with its own canvas, frame and export folder. That keeps both sets exact while “Create outer from inner” saves you from designing every screen twice.
Design around the fold
The inner display folds along its vertical centre. Apple says its finish minimizes crease visibility, and our frame draws no crease, but a few habits keep inner screenshots clean:
- Keep headlines short enough to sit above the device, not across the centre line.
- Capture screens where the main content is not split by the middle of the display.
- Check the outer set separately: copied text has less width there and may wrap onto more lines.
Do you need iPhone Duo screenshots yet?
Apple’s screenshot specifications do not list iPhone Duo as a required size today. Apple’s note on the same page says that starting in April 2027, screenshots will be required for any app using the iOS 27.1 SDK or later, and that submitting them adds a badge to your product page saying the app is optimized for iPhone Duo.
Frequently asked questions
Is the iPhone Duo screenshot generator free?
Yes. Both iPhone Duo frames, “Create outer from inner” and single-screen PNG export are free, with no watermark and no account. Paid plans add ZIP export of a whole set, premium templates and more cloud storage.
Do I need both inner and outer iPhone Duo screenshots?
Apple lists them as two separate sizes, one per display. Upload a set for each display your app supports; the editor keeps them as two device groups in one project.
Are the iPhone Duo frames Apple’s bezels?
No. They are our own drawings, sized so the screen areas match Apple’s screenshot sizes exactly (2007 × 2853 inner, 1398 × 2034 outer).
Can I make landscape iPhone Duo screenshots?
Apple accepts 2853 × 2007 (inner) and 2034 × 1398 (outer) in landscape. Our Duo frames are drawn in portrait. If you lay out a landscape canvas in an iPhone Duo group, the editor exports it at the matching landscape size.
