Are iPhone Duo screenshots required?
Not today. Apple’s screenshot specifications list only the 6.3-inch iPhone group (and the 13-inch iPad for iPad apps) as required; iPhone Duo has no requirement. Apple’s note on the same page says that starting in April 2027, screenshots will be required for any app using the iOS 27.1 SDK or later.
Apple’s note also says that when you submit iPhone Duo screenshots, your product page shows a badge telling people your app is optimized for iPhone Duo, which is a reason to add them before they are required.
iPhone Duo has two sizes, one per display: 2007 × 2853 (inner) and 1398 × 2034 (outer).
