Urdu App Store Screenshots (اردو)
Urdu App Store screenshots go in the Urdu localization (ur-PK); on Google Play the code is ur. Urdu is written in Arabic script, right to left, so text runs right to left, letters join to their neighbours, and lines break between words.

Arabic script rules
Text runs right to left, letters join to their neighbours, and lines break between words.
- Mirror the layout: right-align headlines, and consider flipping the device to the left so the eye starts on the right.
- Numbers inside Arabic text still read left to right; preview mixed text carefully.
- Don’t add letter-spacing: it breaks the joins between letters.
Fonts: Use a font with Arabic shaping, such as Noto Sans Arabic or Noto Naskh Arabic; Latin-only fonts fall back to a system font.
Urdu-specific notes
- Urdu is usually set in Nastaliq style, which needs much more line height than Naskh.
- Text runs right to left.
How to make the Urdu set in AppShotEditor
- Finish your source-language set first.
- Duplicate the project and name it with the locale code (ur-PK). AppShotEditor has no built-in translation, so paste in translated headlines yourself.
- Replace the screenshots with ones captured in Urdu (on iOS: Simulator → Settings → Language).
- Right-align the headlines and check the order of mixed numbers and Latin words.
- Export at the same sizes and upload them in the Urdu localization.
